07th Expansion is a Japanese company that specializes in the creation of
visual novels known as sound novels. They started out drawing for the
trading card game Leaf Fight, but they are most famous for creating the
d?jin game series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Their last release as d?jin
makers was the fandisc of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, in December 2006.
After that, 07th Expansion transitioned from a d?jin soft maker to a
commercial organization. Their most recent release is Umineko no Naku Koro
ni released on August 17 2007.
