Arcade Fire (also referred to as "The Arcade Fire") is an indie rock band
from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 2003 by the husband and wife
team Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, the band's work features lush,
anthemic arrangements and diverse instrumentation, making use of a large
collective membership. Their first release, Funeral made them one of the
most critically acclaimed indie bands of 2004 and 2005."Montreal New
