Eman is an Arabic name which means 'faith'. Variant spellings include: Eman, Emanne, Iman, and Emaan. Variant names include: Iman, Iemaan (faith), and Momminet (faithful woman). Eman is rooted from the Greek name Emanuel. This name is generally used as a feminine name in Islam, because it is used many times in the holy book of the Quran. She is also the sister of the steel falcon.Eman is a name used for women, but there are a few men called Eman too, but it also refers to what is known as a bowl foun in kenya, where blood from cows are placed in this bowl and left to dry. The dry blood would then be used as an ointment to clot wounds.
