Ron Killings (born January 19, 1972) better known by his ring name Ron "The Truth" Killings, is an American professional wrestler and rapper. He is currently contracted to World Wrestling Entertainment. He is best known for his work in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where he was a two-time former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Early life Killings was born in Chicago but grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family struggled to make ends meet as a result of low-paying jobs and periods of unemployment, and his father supplemented the family income by selling cannabis. While Killings occasionally helped his father, he aspired to become a musician. After moving to Charlotte, Killings became enamoured of hip hop music and breakdancing.
