Lifelover is a band from Stockholm, Sweden. Biography Lifelover was formed in 2005 by B and ( ). While primarily a black metal band (especially in their appearance, vocals, much of their guitar work and drums), the band also works with influences from gothic rock and post-punk, with one reviewer comparing them to "The Birthday Party covering old Cure". Others have referred to their sound as being "depressive rock". While many black metal bands do contain many varied elements and influences, Lifelover vary more from the black metal 'norm' then most and can genuinely claim to have a truly unique style, which is sometimes compared to Joyless or Woods of Infinity, though.In 2006, their first album Pulver was released.
