    Obadiah Parker is a folk/pop band from Scottsdale, Arizona comprised of Mat Weddle (vocals, guitar), Jessie Young (piano/keyboards, trumpet, vocals), and Daniel Zehring (bass, vocals). The band has recorded an EP and a live CD, both of which contain a mixture of covers and original material. Weddle has also appeared in a popular video, propagated on the internet, playing an acoustic cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya". History Weddle, Young, and Zehring first met through a local church over ten years ago and developed their interest in music into a functioning band together. They cite bands like Counting Crows and Dave Matthews Band as their influences. Obadiah Parker's first full length album was released April 2, 2007 on iTunes and in general release on May 19, 2007.
