Quantec ProAudio is a German developer and manufacturer of professional audio engineering equipment and software. The company was founded in 1982 by Wolfgang Buchleitner, the headquarters are in Munich. There are two major product lines in the market: High quality reverberation and sound effect devices utilizing digital signal processing (DSP). Quantecs "Room Simulator QRS" is said to be the first digital reverb generator on the market able to simulate the time and frequency domain responses of real rooms (based upon room size, absorption and other properties). The second product range is geared towards providing ideal measurement and transmission conditions, so ensuring that all digital devices and interfaces in a broadcasting or recording studio are perfectly synchronized with each other for reliable interoperation.
