X27 is an experimental pop/naked punk band currently based in Brooklyn, NY. They are known for their intense live shows and catchy stripped-down noisy punk rock. X27 is the lovely Carmen X and Rikkeh Suhtn (formerly of Duotron). The band X27 was founded in 2000 in the basement of a nineteenth-century machine-shop on the southern bank of the Chicago sewer canal. The name X27 comes the film Dishonored, where Marlene Dietrich plays Agent X27 who hides code in her music. It is based on the real life character Mata Hari.
