Xanopticon is the stage name for Ryan Friedrich. He has released albums on
Tiger Beat 6, Mirex, and Hymen. His music is often strange and alienating,
with a speed and complexity matching most IDM but it's sentiment being
closer to dark drum & bass. Due to this heaviness, he is often compared to
Venetian Snares, who has an equal ability for manipulating small snippets
of sound.
